Splash screen generator for Android

Upload your logo, pick a colour, and download a clean splash screen in the two formats Android uses today: a full-screen image and an Android 12+ splash icon.

No logo yet — the preview uses a placeholder.

Full screen · 1080×1920
Android 12+ icon · 1152×1152

How to use it

  1. Upload your logo. Choose a PNG or SVG logo, ideally with a transparent background.
  2. Pick colours. Set the background colour (match your app's theme colour) and the text colour.
  3. Adjust. Resize the logo and add your app name if you want it on the full-screen version.
  4. Download. Download the full-screen PNG and the Android 12+ splash icon.

Why two formats?

Since Android 12, every app gets a system splash screen: your theme's background colour with a centred icon, shown for a moment while the app starts. You can't replace it with a full-screen picture — you supply the icon and colour. Older Android versions, and many app builders, still use a full-screen splash image.

The Android 12 safe zone

The Android 12 splash icon is masked to a circle that is two-thirds of the icon's width (192 dp of 288 dp). Anything outside that circle is cut off, so the generator keeps your logo inside it with a little breathing room.

Design tips

  • Use the same colour as your app's header so the transition into the app is seamless.
  • Keep text off the Android 12 icon — it gets small and may be clipped.
  • A simple logo mark reads better than a detailed illustration at splash size.

Questions people ask

What size should an Android splash screen be?

A full-screen splash image is commonly 1080 × 1920 pixels. For the Android 12+ system splash, supply a 1152 × 1152 icon (288 dp at xxxhdpi) with the logo inside the central circle.

Can I use a full-screen image on Android 12?

Not for the system splash screen — Android 12+ always shows your icon on your background colour. Some apps show a second, custom screen afterwards.

Is my logo uploaded?

No. Everything is drawn on a canvas in your browser and downloaded directly.
